These have historically been a real pain, requiring a ton of manual steps to get things fixed inside of Pro/E (i.e. model parameters, and reports) in order to even export information to be further tweaked manually in Microsoft Excel. Countless hours have been wasted manually manipulating data in this way by engineers and users of Pro/E.

To fix this problem, we developed Nitro-BOM. It uses Microsoft Excel as your bi-directional interface with Pro/ENGINEER for quickly exporting, modifying and uploading changes to your Pro/E Assemblies and Models. You can finish up by filtering and arranging Pro/E data for final export (e.g. mapping parameters to other systems, changing export order, etc.)
